Description

Cally's center, Mymble added round one, I added round 2. The WIP said to add chevrons and so I did. It is on it's way to Joke in Australia as I speak. This one is all about fun.

Capetowngirl

Wow, what a beautiful star

cally68

Wow! I love how this is turning out! Beautiful addition Charwirfs !

Charwirfs

So glad you like it cally68 . I agree, this center is developing nicely. I can't wait to see what Joke does to it. She always adds a surprise.

Charwirfs

Thank you Capetowngirl . cally68 made it for her starter block. Two people have added rounds to it. It will have three more rounds added before being returned to her. It was a joy to add my round.

HawkFan

Love what you did Char - perfect way to carry through some of the elements!

Charwirfs

Thank you HawkFan . You know I love this sort of thing. Add to, but leave space for the next add.

threadovmetal

Gorgeous!

Charwirfs

Thank you threadovmetal . We are pleased pleased that you like it...

Joke

I'm seeing a trend with your borders wink now to decide what I want to do! There are some colours to play with here!

HawkFan

Char - yes it is just as important to give the next person something to play off of

Charwirfs

Thanks HawkFan . You will do well with it Joke . I hope it arrives soon. This Improvi-style Robin is tricky, because conventional round robin borders are discouraged for more of an add-on style border, and even add on to the previously finished WIP. One is tempted to add the usual even border all around. Adding to a piece improvi style takes it into free art mode, which means no rules apply and we can add even borders if we want and many do just that. I love to take the WIP and steer it in a new direction but I am uncomfortable with taking it out of a color or style theme, even though Improvi guidelines say that is OK. Hopefully on round three, I may break my trend Joke and surprise you. Maybe not...

Joke

Charwirfs I think I know what I'm going to do! I'll leave fabric pulling until I receive it though so I can get a better look at the colours!

Charwirfs

Great idea Joke . I am always amazed at how good the actual piece appears when it arrives. The pictures never seem to do justice.

Joke

Charwirfs I recognise a few of the pieces in cally68 's centre so I should be able to repeat fabrics too! grin
