Oh and thanks Belinda!!
Don't tempt me, I'll start one up and make sure to partner myself up with you!
Too cute! I am curious as to what you changed in the pattern - looks great!
Mymble thank you... I used the method from this tutorial (sorry on iPad so link will need to be cut and pasted to use) to do all corners. I had made this gift bag pattern a few years ago and it allows you to match and actually nest the seams so they match up beautifully on outside. I also pressed the seams on the upper section of outside of bag differently that she describes (pattern says press them open) so could nest them as well. Minor changes but made a big difference in finished bag. http://www.allpeoplequilt.com/bags-pillows-gifts/bags-and-purses/fabric-gift-bag?page=0%2C1
Oh the link worked right!!

This is so cute. I just love bags
When I see this darling bag it reminds me that I need to buy more novelty fabric! So dang cute! And I'm going to pin it so I can reference your changes when I finally make a bag for myself. Thanks!!!!
Terryt1955 thank you...I love novelty fabrics like these but have such a hard time knowing what to do with them!
I just love the mice cavorting across the top of the bag while the kitties are napping. Great use of novelty fabrics.
I love how the bright lining fabric adds a nice flash of color. What a fun bag!
What cute fabric! It makes a lovely bag.
Cute bag! I just love these drawstring bags!
