Description

Mia needed a small blanket for her buggy for the summer. So when I saw the Dashwood Studio prints from Petit Street I had to have them - they match our buggy and are gorgeous! I basted 1.5" hexies and basted till I had run out of fabric then pieced until it looked about right.

I've added no batting, but quilted it to a piece of flannel making it really light weight but still snuggly. When I addedthe binding I also added a couple of loops so I could use the hoopy things from kids toys to attach it to the buggy and never worry about it falling off! I'm quite chuffed with this brainwave!

The finished quilt is about 24" x 20" - so doesn't needed to be folded over to go on the buggy, and won't get caught in the wheels.

Unfortunately I over-basted and still have loads of hexies left, so there will be a slightly different Hexy Buggy Quilt II in the not too distant future!

Super cute!!! Oh and the quilt is amazing also. I love the fabric you chose, and how smart of you to use the little loops. Great job on this!!!
