Description

My daughter Megan has been begging me for a quilt as I made one for her brother. I did have another planned but this one will take a while and I needed a quick one. I found a lovely pattern in the Summer Quilts and More Magazine called Brick Rack. She decided she liked a range of fabric called Fleurologie by Stephanie Ryan, that we mixed with some polka dots. The pattern in the book created a huge quilt that was too big for our requirements, so I did some jigging and re-adjusted sizes. Unfortunately once I had sewn it all together I didn't like the look of the layout. I have ended up with a 72" x 45", and after looking at it for a while have decided to add two more rows which should give me a 72" x 54".  This unfortunately means I have to re-purchase 12 fat quarters due to the layout, but as a friend said I could make some matching cushions
