Just love this pillow and it will look so awesome with her quilt! And congrats Paula ( Dtscrapper ) on new place...how exciting.
I love it, of course. Love all the fabrics, and the side strips, and blue polka dot corners, and back..... pillow perfection!
Readerowl Thanks, Karen :) It is so much fun to make pillows from left over scraps - very satisfying!
I hope you made this private so Paula can't see it! I was hoping to turns my trimmed corners into HST's to send to Paula but alas they remain in my project bin in little pile of triangles. What a cute pillow (no surprise there) and a big congrats to Dtscrapper ! I really like the introduction of the navy here. Take note Eric and Julie!
This is wonderful! What a great house warming gift for her. No wonder I have adopted you...you are the best sister. What is the printed fabric you used?
Love this pillow Wendy...will be a nice companion to Paula's Quilt. She will love it.
Wonderful housewarming gift and I am so envious of your stash of dark gray fabrics!
Great pillow, Caribousmom . Paula will love it. I have that fabric that looks like tickets--don't know what line it is but I was toying with using that for her blocks but was uncertain how they'd look. They sure look great in her pillow. She will be very happy!
Terryt1955 Thanks, Terry - she got the pillow yesterday so I felt okay posting :) And she loved it!
Quilt455 Well, I can always use more sisters! LOL. Are you asking about the gray text? That is Tim Holt fabric - it is so awesome.
Conniharns Thanks Conni!
HawkFan Thanks, Audrey. LOL re: the stash - I have to admit, I purchased most of those on my trip! I was on a mission!!
Quilterinmotion Thanks Marsha. The tickets are the 2wenty 3hree fabric that Paula used as her inspiration fabric - actually I believe the little fabric swatch she sent everyone was that fabric!!!
You make lining up all the points of the HST's seem effortlessly. Mine would have a zig zaggy effect which would make me want to toss it!
So glad it arrived safe & sound AND dry!
Terryt1955 I always make my HSTs bigger and then trim them so they will be accurate. That and pressing seams open helps to keep them from distorting :)
I love my new pillow cover!
