Description

I was inspired to make a Union Jack quilt by one I saw in a book of hexagon quilts. There was one that was one large Union Jack on the top, all made up of hexagons. It was beautiful, but I wasn't sure I wanted to take the hexagon challenge at this time. But I loved the idea. The Union Jack is such a pretty flag. So I made up a block pattern and then made lots of them in all different fabrics. It was so much fun to choose which fabrics to combine and see how they turned out. I can't decide which block I love best. It's a beautiful tribute to my British heritage.

cally68 Thank you! I finished it while we were vacationing at the cabin, so I took advantage of the beautiful setting. :)
