Great job with this, Audrey!!
cally68 LOL - I meant, Valerie! OMG - I was looking at all of Audrey's projects and then came to yours...I have Audrey on the brain!
Very nice Valerie! I also found that the center "stem" was almost too short so if I do more, I'm definitely cutting it longer. I agree that tutorial was much better!
HawkFan what size did your individual feather blocks come out? Mine are 9.5x18. I couldn't find anywhere in the pattern about block size. I agree stem was too short.
Beautiful fall feather!
My feathers were about that size too. Dont trim them as they may vary a bit so once you receive yoirs you can trim them all the same.great job Valerie!!
Mine were a little smaller - maybe 9 x 17.5 but there's room to trim all to the same size once you get your swapped ones. I did even out the edges a bit
love the warm colors you chose for your feather. Thanks for the advice on stem length.
Carolmarie , try them this month and if you are successful, which you will be, you can join the Swap. We'd love to have more people and you only have to swap 5 (or more groups of 5).
Carolmarie it's the September swap for the group never ending swap. Are you a member? If not, you should join. We have a lot of fun. All swaps are optional. You only sign up for the ones you want to participate in.
Carolmarie , yes!!! The Neverending Swap for September is making the Anna Maria Horner feathers (groups of five) to swap with others who have joined. We'd love to have you!!!!! Please go check out the Neverending Swap. I've been trying to figure out ways to get the word out as we want lots of swappers if we can. Just pm if you decide to join us and you can decide anytime this month as the swap doesn't have to mail out until September 30!!
