Description

Very loosely based on Red Pepper Quilts Retro HST pattern, although I wish I'd spent longer planning and thinking about this. I'm clearly very susceptible to suggestion as a friend mentioned that I could make a quilt for a mutual friend's baby... a few hours later I had started! Some of the points/corners don't match, but I'm embracing some margin of error.

I nearly didn't do the diagonal quilting lines, after I had done the 'squares' (following the seams), but I'm so glad I did. It really adds interest and texture.

Boho and Cotton & Steel basics top. Upcycled flannel sheet backing. Bamboo blend batting. Grey crosshatch binding. Aurifil 50wt piecing, 40wt machine quilting. Finished size: 30" x 38".

I love it! Hope Dashiell does too.

It's really cute. Love the fabrics! And yes I totally believe in embracing margin of error!!!! It makes for a much cuter quilt. ;)

I like Boho Chic in smaller settings, just as you did with the HSTs. I think it breaks up all the prints and looks really pretty together. Great job on this!!

Very pretty and the prints are so dynamic you don't see any mismatched corners/points. Looks great

Love the quilt ~ and I really can't find the mismatched corners! I have so many charm packs ~ this really inspires me to make a quilt like this!
