Readerowl , lucky you. I don't have that model, but some of the sewing machine collectors on my groups just rave about the 15 series. Those old machines were built really well. If you PM me, I'd be happy to point you to some resources for finding out more about it, including any parts that might be missing, or need to be refurbished. BY the Serial number that one dates to 1947, according to ISMACS. Nice find!
Sizzlewaggle Thanks! I found a couple accounts online of people who fixed up this model, and some parts places. When I get serious about it, I'll ask you to tap your groups for info.
