Description

I found a great tutorial, a paper-pieced tutorial, for a Christmas tree mini skirt, tree skirt that is.  I decided to make it as I have a  mini tree to go along with it.

I love paper-piecing as you might know and this one was so adorable.  It also was pretty face to piece together as there were 4 groups of ten patterns that were identical so they could be chain-stitched and pieced.  I really enjoyed making this tree skirt.

It's too large for my tree as I expected "mini" to be for a little tree.  The skirt measures 24" diameter so it's for a table tree, maybe a 2-3' tree.  However, it will be put to good use so I'm still thrilled I made it.

Best thing, you don't even have to put packages under the tree....they're on the tree skirt!  :wink:

I followed the tutorial on the RileyBlakeDesigns blog and it was so easy to follow and fun to do.  I recommend you give it a try, maybe for next Christmas!
