Description

I made this using only prints from my scrap bins. I made 30 blocks using the Blue Elephant stitches tutorial. This is an excellent scrap buster and a very addictive block to make! I changed it up from the original slightly. I used kona Medium gray for the outer sashing. The corners were rounded and bound with a true bias binding. The blocks are hand quilted and the sashing was machine quilted with free flowing organic lines

Nothing like using what you have to make something stunning! I know this block as Chimney Sweep, but done in these colors it truly is a garden. The back is as great as the front and I love that you hand quilted it.

I really love these granny square quilts...I'm saving my scraps and cutting them into 2.5" pieces so one day I will have enough to make one of these :)
