Description

My entry for Pat Sloan's Hip to be Square challenge. The orange and white fabrics are from some fall pillows I never made, and everything else is leftovers from other projects.  I chose to do 4x4 blocks instead of the suggested 6x6.  It finished out at 39.75" by 55.75".

This one was a hard one for me to do for a couple of reasons: 1)  I don't like orange very much  2) Many of these fabrics were purchased early on in my quilting journey when I didn't really know what I loved.

Trying to make something I liked out of fabrics and color combos that I DIDN'T like ended up being the real challenge for me. I ended up being fairly happy with it, I like how my eye moves around the quilt trying to figure out when one block ends and another begins.

This one will be donated to my local Project Linus chapter.
