Description

To me, this quilt pattern looks like the painting in Lisa & Oliver Wendell Douglas' apartment in New York--the painting in the show intro. That painting is in the style of "Neoplasticism" and made popular by Piet Mondrian, a Dutch painter. Here's an app where you can create your own Mondrian style painting--link

I made this quilt out of a fat quarter bundle I won as a doorprise (sorry about the misspelling--that one key does not work on my computer, due to a tea spill ages ago). I used all 12 fat quarters.

I quilted it with heart strings. Batting is Quilters Dream Puff.

I love this pattern, by Madison Cottage Design!!! I have always loved that painting in the Green Acres apartment.
