Great job on this- I have so many smaller cuts of fabrics that would be perfect for this- must look into it- would you say it was difficult?
Wow just love this one...you will be talk of the town! Great job...so impressed and jealous!
True thanks...actually its not for me, but I am going to make me one.
Mymble The directions are a little confusing when it gets to the pockets which I screwed up last time and broke my zippers. The worst part for me is sewing on the clips...I cringe every time and almost broke my needle twice today. some areas are a little thick when you get towards the end so I just go slow, use my walking foot, and increase my stitch length. Other than that its just a lot of straight line sewing and ironing a million types of interfacing on.
Carolmarie the pockets are easy its just one long strip you fold and stitch, fold and stich fold and stich...like paper fans when we were kids. the worst part is the sewing near the hardware.
Skynme ah - the million types of interfacing - ack - means a trip to the big box stire- but this is sooo cute - definitely goes on my "wanna make " list Bravo!
I love it! So cute. When I've had really thick sections, I've sometimes actually hand-rotated the wheel to bring the needle up and down. It has saved a broken needle or two. Of course, I haven't done that for larger sections.
HawkFan I do that too,but sewing next to metal clips is new for me and I misjudged on this one. Thank goodness my machine went into safety mode. I was cringing the whole time. I wish there was a foot that would get close but push the clip out of the way...like a zipper foot does for zips.
Wow love your latest one...you could sell these they are lovely!!!
True thank you!!! That's really sweet to say but the quality of my stitching is not up to par LOL.
These look incredible!
Great job. I'm so impressed by the way you fussy cut the fabric to perfectly position the motifs.
