Description

Used left overs from baby quilt to also make a doll quilt to go with it. Used Quilting In the Rain's tutorial for inspiration and size but I am using fusbile applique for the hearts as that way used some of scraps I had and way easier time wise. Will machine applique around hearts in pink thread.

Update 2-21-15 Doll quilt done

Added receiving blanket with Riley Blake flannel as backing which is amazingly soft!

Pictures

Zebras on front, flannel on back
To and bottom has decorative stitching and sides just straight stitching

HawkFan thank you and I am so in love with that fabric! I ordered another yard to make a receiving blanket with just it (and polka dot flannel on back) and think I should have ordered more;-)

HawkFan thanks but not really...should be quilting one of three tops including the one to go this ...so this miget be called avoidance work;-). Wait til you see receiving blanket with that zebra fabric...OMG if I was young and having a baby girl I think the whole nursery would be in it.
