Description

I follow a few good sewing boards on Pinterest and also read a lot of excellent sewing blogs, so it was a combination of both things that led me to find this sweet pattern from A Cuppa and a Catch-Up. My little girl loves putting toys in pockets, shoes, random bags, or any little spot that would make a good hide-out for a stuffed toy. This pillow played to that effect!

I've listed the pillow in Home/Dec, but it could easily fit in the quilting category, as the petals were all pieced, Dresden style, appliqu├ęd, and there was both machine and hand-quilting done.

Love the colors and I especially like the handquilted outline. Such a nice touch! This could even serve as a tooth fairy pillow!

How sweet! I remember seeing these on someone's blog and wanting to try one but forgot all about it! Yours is lovely!

Dtscrapper, Carol - thank you! Terry - yes, I thought the same thing when I found the pattern. This is a lot bigger than the pockets on tooth fairy pillows though, so much more "practical" haha :) April, yep, you probably saw it on acuppaandacatchup.com - I highly recommend this pattern. Thank you for your comments!
