Description

I love the Nautical Quilt (see tutorial link) and also the Trail Marker low volume quilt from Film in the Fridge and one or both were on my must-do list.  When I felt I needed to make several boy quilts, this was one of my choices.  I went to my scrap bags for blues and browns, and then added in some rusts and greens.  I pulled several outdoorsy prints from a blogger fat quarter bundle  I bought at a great price in a flash sale.  The goal is five columns of ten triangles... we'll see..
March 11: Finished five columns. Maybe it needs one more?  It sure is scrappy.  Included are trees, flowers, pinecones, twigs, woodgrain, acorns, foxes, quail, fireflies, and quite a bit of snakeskin.

Your scraps look amazingly un-scrappy and cool! I love the colors next to the crisp white.
