Cannot wait to see done!
These are great! The fabrics are perfect for this!
Very "spring"! great choice !
Love your florals! How perfect for spring!
Love the basket top center. Oh, and the one to the right of it. And the linen, and everything you are doing!
Love the Liberty with linen. Perfect!
Just love your fabrics. This is going to be so cute. I have to confess I wasn't real keen on this particular mini in the book but I love where yours is going
oh my goodness! so cute!
Love v the fabrics you are using for your baskets. Too cute.
I need another 'love' button. The top is wonderful
This is so lovely! If I can get over my hangup about raw edge applique, I might try it.
Love your top! Amazing fabrics.
JudyBR Thanjs Judy- I hear you - it's never been my big favorite and I considered doing needle turned for this but as it's going on the wall - and won't go in the washer, it seemed ok. Also, using fabrics with a high thread count helps a lot!
True thanks Mary - they are - they make me happy just working on them- which is especially helpful for the hand stitching
So cute. The hand quilting is a great touch
HawkFan Thanks Audrey - black seemed harsh so - hard to make out in my late night pic but its a deep Crimson.
Of course I'm a big fan of Crinson
Crimson that is
Very sweet and love your hand quilting.
Thank you Mary - this piece had such a lovely gentle vibe while working on it
This is adorable. Love your hand stitching.
Such a cute finish!
It does look like an involved project
HawkFan well it's a funny thing- it's all simple seeing and no seams to match - it's the cutting and placement you have to watch- post it notes and the hand quilting is a lot for such a small piece but I find that relaxing so not a big deal there. I'd say this piece needs focus - can't just whip it out
Mymble I think that probably makes it seem more personal though too doesn't it? I like a little hand work sometimes
This is so cute! I love your version. The Liberty works so well with your hand quilting
HawkFan yes- exactly- and yes - a little is good! I respect those who do entire quilts - quite a feat!
Sewhappy thank you- yes the Liberty and linen mix does really work well with the hand stitching - and even though this isn't the tana lawn- it's still a lovely smooth cotton that takes the stitches nicely.
Love the pictures amongst the flowers!! Perfect for this mini
True Thanks :) -its always a challenge- I have so much trouble getting in close enough for detail but still far back enough to show the whole thing- but its nice that you can use the zoom here on TB- can't zoom in on IG so the zoom has to be done before I post.
