Description

Sprout was having issues with her carseat straps digging into her neck and leaving red marks. Commercially-available covers cost $5-6, so I decided to make my own. Didn't have to buy any materials. I wrote up a tutorial to go on my Patterns website, it's linked as the tutorial I used. The pictures were taken in an extra carseat we have, not her usual one, but the straps are the same size, so it will work in any carseat.

They are made from scraps of quilting cotton, stuffed with polyester fiber-fill, and have Velcro closure so they are easily removed for washing. :)

Hey! I saw these over on Ravelry! high_brightness Great idea high_brightness I wonder if any of my grandbabies could use something like this?

I used purchased ones for my kids when they were small, but I should have just make my own.

Speattle They were very easy to make. Many carseats come with their own covers, but some of the less expensive carseats don't. :) I'd love to see them if you do decide to make any.
