Description

I'm using fellow PMQG member Sam Hunter's Bloomin' quilt pattern to make a table runner for my mom for Mother's Day.

4/27...finished the top this morning. Although I just love the *look* of Osnaburg, it was no fun to sew! I got the majority of the top done and decided to unstitch it all and start with a new background. I ended up with some heavyweight muslin. I wanted something natural looking, and while the linen blend I saw was perfect, the muslin was only $5/yard and would do the job, so I just went with that. I got a remnant for the back (this will be one of the very few backs of mine that won't be pieced) for only $6. I plan to baste today and start quilting tomorrow. It's got to go in the mail on the 5th.

Thanks, HawkFan . I see some color value changes to make, but it's just me being particular. ;)
