Description

These are 3 little tank tops that belonged to my own daughter when she was little.  They were purchased in the 1980s.

I don't know why I saved them, but I did and aside from a few stains, they are in wearable shape.

So, for the two butterfly applique shirts, I placed butterflies to cover the stains.  The kitty shirt didn't have stains, but I just wanted to do something fun to an otherwise very plain little tank top.  I think my 2 year old granddaughter will love the picture of the kitty in glasses.

After embellishment, I use a soft tricot fusible  product on the back to cover the stabilizer.

The two striped ones fit my 2 year old granddaughter and the solid pink one fits her 4 and 1/2 year old sister.

I added an additional butterfly to the yellow shirt. Cut from some print fabric that I used to make her a skirt earlier.
