Description

A needed a quick, fun project after finishing big project so made this mini.  Also wanted to try printing right on fabirc wit printer and then did not want to waste my efforts when it worked!  Could be a wall mini or table topper and made so could be reversible as love the backing fabric.

Update 6-19-15 Was used as one of gifts at Mt. Shasta retreat

Oh, this is SO adorable, Mary! I love it! And love the matchstick quilting too. It is awesome (and the say is so true!!)

Caribousmom

should have been "the saying"...

Speattle

How did you do the printer printing on the fabric? That is so cool!

True

Caribousmom thank you!! It was fast and fun and that was so needed.

Speattle I used the freezer paper method where you press a piece of fabric to freezing paper and printed. If you google it better directions will come up.

Speattle came back to tell you it did fade during washing...and that was just one time. I was able to fix with my awesome fabric markers but not sure would try again unless figure that part out!

Saw this on Insta - just so cute! You also inspired me to print up a quilt label using my printer.

HawkFan did you read my comment above...it did fade when I washed it...I was not happy at all!! Was able to fix but not sure would hold up to very many washings. And thank you.

HawkFan

I did see that. I used it for a label for a mini (name) quilt which I assumed won't be washed. I've seen something online about how to fix the ink a little better. I believe it involves using a product called Bubble Jet Set. Haven't tried it yet though

HawkFan will have to goggle as I loved how it came out!
