Description

Saw some of these on IG and loved them so hunted down the pattern which ended up being a free tutorial from Pink Penguin.  I did do a couple things different but followed her instructions pretty closely.  Luckily there were lots of pictures as the words were just not doing it for me!  In case anyone decides to make it you do not see much of the inside fabric on bag so make sure pick something you do not love for that part.  And I may get some craft cord as she suggests as my drawstrings are a bit wider than works best (could make them thinner next time or make opening a tad bigger.)

And gray day makes horrible lighting for pictures.

Changed out drawstrings with cording and much happier. Would have liked even thinner one but other one they had was too thin.

Update 6-19-15 This was given as one of prizes at retreat.

Fun lunch bag, I love the bicycle fabric! I have made a few of these for gifts as well, and cord is much easier to thread and use. I will have to dig photos out and post them.

These bags have been catching my eye for a while now; don't need a lunch bag and haven't decided what I'd use it for but there's an urge to make one. Nice fabric, True and I like the ones you used too, Mymble .
