That's my sort of star- massive! I like this pattern!
Love the pic of all the sewing machines
That is beautiful. I do love a star. How did you manage to pull yourself away from that retreat - I'd want to stay there and stare at they view all day. Maybe put my sewing machine on the deck.....
Capetowngirl my sewing machine has a view of the mountain! It is so beautiful here...this is our last day tonight we pack up and tomorrow we leave :-(
I just love this. So bright and happy.
Definitely going to have to make this pattern!
I don't know...I found an amazing quilt holder
I love this one, Mary! And it looks so spectacular hanging there :)
I should have paid closer attention to how you kept the rows straight from moving from the bed to the sewing machine. I think you should brig it next year and we'll hang it from the banister as our "flag".....
Terryt1955 LOL I used little scraps of paper with numbers I wrote on them, and pinned each row together with pin in top right corner so knew which way wanted them oriented when was sewing together. Still made one mistake but was able to only have to rip apart mainly partial seams to fix.
I've got all my blocks made and hanging on the design wall but I honestly can't climb up the ladder one more time to start pinning the little scraps of paper. I am praying the dogs don't go near the design wall tonight while I crash! i'm so pooped I can't even take a new picture to upload. I am pathetic!
Terryt1955 that is impressive and I would be exhausted too...well I am but not from making HST's!! Cannot wait to see them all.
Half way through I moved the design wall to the dining room so I'd have more room to hang 2 Of F.Fons Porter's. Of course a lot of the blocks fell off which meant climbing up and down that blasted ladder. Stupid of me to wear "thongs" instead of sturdier shoes to save the soles of my feet.
