Description

Last year I made a New England Quilt Block Clock for a family reunion.  The raffle was very popular and everyone wanted the clock so when an invitation came for our niece's wedding, I knew what the wedding gift would be.

I used the Circle of Geese paper-pieced block with a light gray print background and primary colored geese.   My Bernina sewing machine was in the shop so I used my Singer Featherweight for the entire process, including quilting.   I was very happy with the results of my straight line quilting, creating peaks that really show off the geese.

7/2/15  I can't locate my completed clock photos so I will put this up as it is and add them later when I locate them in my photo files.

My niece has notified me was VERY happy to get her very own  one-of-a-kind quilted clock!

Thanks, HawkFan; I think the stitching takes it to a new level.
