Description

Hmmm, this could go into home dec, I suppose, but I did sew it for a child.

I used the embroidery feature on my newest sewing machine to do the Alice in Wonderland picture.  It is built into my machine.  Then I used one of the 6 fonts to write out her name.

After I assembled the pillow top, I used a decorative sewing stitch to embellish the perimeter of the center square.  It is a little serpentine stitch that has tiny bows incorporated.  I used the same stitch on the back of the pillow along the envelope hems.

Finished size is 12 inch square, not including the lace trim.

The little label was purchased at " Quilting Squares" in Franklin, TN.

thanks. I love making these. My embroidery machine is about mid-line of the ones Brother offers, so only does up to a 5 x 7 (plenty big for me) and has limited editing ability on the machine. (So far, I've not been interested in investing in additional $oftware).

I love that it has a decent selection of Disney images. With so many little ones in my life, I will have fun personalizing gifts for them. I've never owned a machine with built in decorative sewing stitches before and it makes it so nice to be able to add a little fun edge to these projects.

I have another pillow top completed for this girl's little one year old cousin and I hope to finish up the entire thing today and get a picture up.
