Mother's Day Quilt by Jenib320
I made this quilt for my Mom for Mother's Day! I had seven vintage quilt blocks that my maternal Grandmother made (approx 40 years ago), and I knew I wanted to use them to make something for my Mom. They're just her colors. I dug into my vintage cottons stash to make one more block (the giant Churn Dash) and came up with this. Since the blocks were a range of sizes (10" to 22"), I didn't want to use a traditional layout. This column layout ended up working the best. It's backed with a vintage sheet and bound up in vintage cotton. It finishes at about 66"x76" and was free motion quilted with doodle loops.
