This class is for the free Craftsy Block of the Month quilt class. Each month the instructor presents 2 blocks for a total of 20 blocks. November and December are for sashing, assembly, quilting and binding. This project will frequently appear as stalled as I wait for the next blocks to be presented. We are not allowed to work ahead.
All 20 blocks are now complete. I kept up with making the blocks, but got way behind on taking and uploading the photos.
I'd highly recommend this class. A lot of different types of blocks are covered so you can sample many different quilting techniques and see what you like best. It's still hard to believe it is a free class.
Added March blocks. Looks like the sashing will be black; maybe with some quilting through the sashing in a varigated thread. Suggestion anyone?
Definitely looking like black sashing would be good. Not sure on the quilting yet - I'm reserving judgement until I see more blocks completed.
I love your choice of fabric! I joined the group and started on the first set of blocks. I can't wait to see your finished project!
Added April and May blocks. English Paper Piecing is not my favorite thing, but I got through the hexagons. The wonky log cabing blocks are fun! I'm getting better with the wonky stuff.
Very cool and love fabric...
Updated my photos since all 20 blocks are now complete. Nov. and Dec classes cover sashing and finishing the quilt.
Love these colors! The black makes it so dramatic. Beautiful!
