Description

I've always wanted to make a sampler quilt and stumbled upon this book on my mom's bookshelf.  The book is Lessons From Mama by Atkinson Designs.  I always seen to like their patterns.  The fabric used is all scraps from my stash.  It was fun to do and I tried a few new techniques...one of which is flying geese using the Triangulations software.  Love that!  A label even made it onto this quilt.

Wow, love this one, Kirsten! I love quilts that use up scraps...there is something about the combination of a scrap quilt and a sampler that is just so appealing!

True

This is spectacular and love that you used scraps...it is quite the lovely quilt!

Samplers are favorites of mine and I really like that you were able to use your stash! I just bought a book and the author says "it is already purchased, you might was well use it!" Beautiful quilt!
