Description

My old cushion covers were shot so much so I had to cut them off since the zippers were rusted shut. I have no experience sewing so taking on this project was a challenge. I learned how to do zippers (finally) and realized they aren't nearly as scary as I'd  imagined them to be. I found this great tutorial on you tube which made all the difference in the world. God how I love the internet!! I also made zippered pillows which I thought jazzed it up nicely. I could have gone with more vibrant colors but went with the fabric I did so as not to take away from my son's landscaping. This winter these babies are going inside the garage!

Rebecca

These new cushions look great! I love tackling projects like this and ending up with a great result. The little guy in the chair is pretty adorable too! smile

Thanks Rebecca. It's so nice looking out and seeing fresh crisp cushions. And the littel guuy is my grandson who was the inspiration for getting into quilting.

Amanda

What a beautiful garden!

Thanks Speattle . I have my son to thank. He's been my side gardening as a little guy and now he does it all on his own.

Ormondbeach

Wow! I love your garden! And the cushions you made make it look like something out of a Pottery Barn catalog!

Terryt1955

I take that as a compliment +Ormonbeach since I always love going thru the PB catalogs but never end up buying anything.Too pricey for me.
