What a beautiful 'first' quilt. Makes me want to sit on that porch swing on a cool morning with a cup of coffee and wrapped up in this quilt! I'm glad you didn't listen to the store clerk. :)
I never understand why some people are so negative. As a PT I have to believe in the possibilities...if you think you can, usually you can!
I am with your Wendy in my line of work if I did not believe and hope all would be lost. So glad you ignored her and this is a wonderful quilt! I am most impressed a queen size out of the gate:-) and a pieced back!
True - thank you! I have an attitude when it comes to people telling me I cannot do something - I simply go out and try to prove them wrong LOL!
I love this quilt. I am glad you did not listen to the clerk. My advise is to only listen to us in this wonderful Threadbias community, we know talent when we see it...:)
Juicyapplecreations we need a LOVE button on our project comments...because I love this: "My advise is to only listen to us in this wonderful Threadbias community..." YES! smiling Thank you for your kind comment!
Wait! I just read for description! (sorry, pretty picture distracted me) This was your FIRST quilt? Wow! All I gotta say is when you're focused- you're unstoppable!
Ormondbeach - It was the first one I bought fabric for and did completely on my own without any help (my actual first quilt was one I made with my sister and she actually did 90% of the piecing). Thanks for your nice comment!!! Focused is a nice way of putting it - some people call it obsessed LOL.
I really like this and I think you did an amazing job on a first quilt!!
do not know how I miss this before. You did a great job. You are a fearless woman. lol. Really, it is wonderful and you know how I just love how you piece your backs too.
Thanks, Cathie :)
