Description

Friday, I was working on my in the hoop mug rug. There was a piece of lint on it. Blowing did not remove it so I stuck my finger in... Now I have the point of the needle stuck in the bone of my right forefinger. After my GP worked for about 40 minutes on it, he gave up and is referring me to a surgeon. A surgeon for an 1/8th of needle. Fortunately, there is no pain, although I have a metal thing on it to prevent me from banging it. I think I can bandage it in such a way that I can be back to work on Monday. I just have to be able thread needles.

OMG when do you see the surgeon? Good luck

Rebecca

Oh no! Hoping the surgeon can get you fixed up soon. Glad it's not painful at least! Hope you have a speedy recovery Christine. hibiscus This also seems like a good reminder to be very aware of how dangerous some of our machines and tools can be.

Chrissybugs

Hopefully I'll see the surgeon this week. Thanks for the good wishes.

Goodness! I am so sorry that happened, but glad it isn't painful. I hope the surgeon can fix you up and you aren't out of sewing commission for too long!
