Description

This is just the cutest little placemat I saw on Moda's Bake Shop tutorial. It was designed by Angela Yosten. The pattern uses Jelly Roll strips and chalkboard fabric. It yields seven (7) placemats but I just made one that uses just six (6) strips. And the best part is it only takes a couple of hours to complete from start to finish!

I used leftover fabric from the Number's book I made. I used Ten Little Things by Jenn Ski for Moda which has such great colors.

Since I'm lagging on quilting his Pirate Quilt that I gave him for his birthday, I figured my little grandson needed something until it comes!

This is the cutest darn thing I have seen in a long time! What an awesome idea...and great entertainment. I wish I had had one when my son was young to take to restaurants.
