February pattern announcement: Kickin' back sweats

Made with platitudes fabric from Joann.  This is a really thick flannel brushed on both sides.  I made size 2/3 but then added a big chunk of additional length and used a large hem so that we could use them next fall since it's already warming up here.  I placed the knee pads very low, so that when lengthening next fall they'll be in a more appropriate spot.

Pants coordinate with the ^raglan-train-tee from January's sew along pattern.

I bought some of this fabric when it went on super sale awhile ago to make a skirt next winter- I love how soft it is. I bet it makes really comfy sweats!

Thank you!

Hey Rebecca, I made a pair of these and thought the crotch was way too long. Did you have this issue or does my boy have a really short crotch?

Rebecca

engiknitter You know, I think maybe they were a bit of a high rise for the size. I didn't think much of it though because quite a few sweat style pants I had to roll the waist down for my son once he wasn't in diapers anymore. They actually still fit him since I added a chunk of extra length and the rise is good now and he's in a size 4.

I made the treasure pocket pants too and was not connecting with the instructions and my rise was insanely high - finally I figured it out though and they are super cute pants. I need to make another pair for my son as he outgrew them.
