Wow, a lot of work went into this one. All those tiny pieces. Very nice
There is something so fun about a crazy quilt ... I love that you used a bit of that gray sashing, too. I have no idea how I would quilt this one either...hmmmm
I have never seen a crazy quilt with such a fun array of fabrics! What a great idea to use up what you have. Quilting will be a challenge, but will only enhance this pretty quilt!
Thanks everyone! I'm really looking forward to getting this one quilted, but I'm going to let a professional handle it. My quilter thinks she can do it sometime early next year. I'll be sure to post photos when it's finished.
It was super easy. I have a tutorial on my blog. http://mouseinmypocket.com/2012/06/crazy-quilt-tutorial/

This is so exciting!!
True I know! I really can't wait to see this one... she had to go and tell me that all of the blocks have different designs.... so I really want to see it soon. She did an amazing job, so I hope my quilts are decent enough for her to use in her portfolio of work.
How fun...and Mouse looks quite happy as well!
That does look totally fun! Great way to use up scraps too and I bet Cara had a great time quilting it. I know I would have. Anything goes!
Wow- how fun- and it looks like Mouse has claimed it:)
Mymble thanks! Mouse claims all my quilts, but that's ok. It means that she'll hang out with me when I use them.
Yes!!! Great work...LOL about Mouse hanging out with you on quilts. I have one I use in my bedroom and have realized when I am reading before bed my Sebago, who never cuddles with me, comes and lies right next to me. He wants the quilt!! But I get the cuddles in the process:-) Another reason to love quilting.
