Description

This is my first quilt pattern made for Fat Quarterly Magazine Issue 10.

I finally decided on all solids to make the most impact on this quilt.  I wanted something super-summery and I think this did the trick!  I used wavy line quilting to simulate life preservers floating gently in a crisp pool.  I like the Ruby Sundae Stripe binding the best I think.  I wanted it to look like lane lines!

Hope you like it!  Let me know if you make one!

Bright summer colors. I would think a boater or swimmer would love this quilt. Is this magazine out yet?

What a great quilt...love the quilting both in how it looks and the concept of it being water! Congrats:-)
