Lovely colors for a Dresden plate! Vintage pattern with modern fabrics is a fun way to make a quilt.

Zarkadia

Thank you Jan. Vintage patterns truly bloom, with all those new lines of fabrics..

Love your fabric choices for this - just beautiful. One of these days I need to tackle a dresden quilt....

Just looked up the book on amazon. Did you get it from the 1st book? Have you checked out the other books?

Thank you all! The hand quilting is also going very well, but slow! And since it is my first time hand-quilting with Perle Cotton No8, it is taking me sometime to get used to it. So many layers! Should I have cut the fabric below the dresden circles? Because I didn't and it is really difficult to handquilt on the circles.

I recently bought both the Material Obsession books - and I have to say, this is one of my favorite quilts from either book! Beautiful!
