Description

I was inspired by this remnant of butterfly border-printed linen I found at JoAnn some time ago. It wasn't wide enough to cut the body pieces from the border, but I was able to exploit the patterning for the sleeves and the hem and waistband casing.

Instead, I used another remnant of allover embroidered cotton/poly for the main fabric. It seemed like it would be scratchy to a wee little Weasel belly, so I underlined it with rayon challis. It worked so well I think I want to underline all my garment projects!

That looks and sounds like a beautifully made tunic for a little weasel. My kids favorite toy was the channel changer-back in the 'ole days". Ha. Looks like that has changed. She is adorable! Very cute tunic!!
