Description

I've been wanting to make a quilt for a long time, but I'm overwhelmed still with the idea of a full sized quilt.  I'm definitely a modern girl, and I don't especially like to follow patterns, so I designed this table runner several years ago.  Then I bought the fabric -- my dining room walls are painted a light "pumpkin" orange and that inspired the colors.  I've worked in (short) starts and (long) stops, but have finally completed piecing the top!  If it turns out well, perhaps I'll link the pattern here.

Amanda

I absolutely love this! Your fabrics are gorgeous and I love the pattern.

Thanks, Amanda! The fabrics are so OLD, though, and I don't have a lot of extra, so now I'm trying to figure out what to use for the back. Maybe just solid orange with a few pieces of whatever prints I have left. I did figure out the binding -- I bought a print fabric that is primarily yellowy-gold, to coordinate with that color in some of the Amy Butler prints here.

Very cute! Did you figure out the back yet?
