Description

47" x 60"

The original pattern is HUGE so reduced the size of the blocks to make a lap sized quilt.  If you don't like jigsaws then this is NOT the pattern for you.  Between deciding which of the blocks you need to make, what fabric(s) it needs to be made up of and then once each secitions blocks are pieced, putting them back in the right order and sewing together (without rotating at any stage) it means that it is not a quilt to make while watching TV.  Husband had to keep reminding me that I do this for fun to keep me going.  You need to have a real grip on managing your fabrics so you don't run out of a fabric before a leaf is completed.  With the mistakes that are in the pattern and the easy way to make silly mistakes that you will probably only spot once you have sewn then in, there will be some unpicking...Just accept it.

Waited to be quilted a long time as was dreading the idea of Stitching in the Ditch around every leaf.  Just did about 30 leaves otherwise it would never have got finished.
