Wow!!! I love those colors and fabrics!! Are they your design? Such a simple block but amazing use of fabrics.

Alisonglass

Chrissybugs Janquilter Thanks! Yes, they are part of my new fabric line, Lucky Penny, coming out next month from Andover Fabrics. It was a fun little quilt to put together.

This is drop dead gorgeous love your fabric and the pattern...I am so impressed with the talent to create such gorgeous fabric!

Alisonglass

True Thank you, I truly appreciate your kind words!

Aizome

Love the fabrics, design and photo shoot! What's the story on the statue?!

Alisonglass

Aizome Thanks! The statue is a group of three little girls reading a book and looking over a fountain in a rather hidden part of the Michigan State campus. It's a beautiful place!

Aizome

How sweet! I ❤ it! Thanks for sharing the story.

This is so beautiful. When your fabric is released, will this pattern also be released? I love the tones and hues of this quilt...

Caribousmom Hi - Thank you so much! This was a mini quilt I designed to show the fabrics together (most of them anyway). It is small. I would like to release a pattern, but I wonder if people would prefer a larger size quilt. Also, some of the fabrics have changed, so it wouldn't be exactly the same. I am working on something similar with the final fabrics, but in a larger size. I would love any feedback you might have about your question. Thanks! Alison

Alisonglass I love lap size or larger quilts (lately I've been making larger sizes which is fun, but very time consuming!!!). I wonder if you created a pattern that could be one of two or three sizes if that wouldn't sell well for you...I know a lot of designers do that and I like having the option myself. I hope when you get your pattern done, you'll post it for us and give a link to where we can find it for purchase :)

Just so gorgeous!

Caribousmom Hi! It has taken quite a while, but I finally have a pattern together for this quilt. It is 84x92 and there are notes on making smaller versions. I have a pdf pattern listed here and a printed pattern and kits available in my shop through my website. www.alisonglass.com I wanted to let you know because you were so sweet to ask! Thank you for the encouragement! Alison
