Oh, Cathie I love it. Your daughter will to. It is pretty on here but even more so seeing it in person! Nice!!
Thanks my friend. Now you have to post yours.
Love the floral fabric. You might want to check out Jennifer Jangles. She makes ceramic buttons that might be just the thing for this bag. Pricey but unique.
Thank you Chrissy. I will check out Jennifer Jangles, thanks for the tip.
This is so awesome, Cathie! I am so glad you brought it to our lunch so I could see it (and fondle it) in person :)
I'll take one in turquoise, please! ;-) These are great. Looking forward to seeing number three.
I missed these and love them what awesome bags both in fabrics and design:-)
Oooooh, that black and red one - SWOON!!!!! Love it! Can't wait to see #3!!!!
Carolmarie, Caa48, Sndyquiltz and True. Thank you. Yes Wendy, I know you would love the colors. I laugh because it reminds me of your China quilt. Of course, I didn't steal the colors from that cause these are middle daughters favorite ones. Hopefully #3 comes out nice too i do love this pattern.
Oh Cathie...this is so cute. I know your daughter will love this. Especially because you made it " with love"!! Still don't know how you make them so quick!
Oh MY these are grand! Every one of them has such great fabric, young and modern and so perfect. You did a wonderful job on all of them!!! They are going to flip over them for sure. I need to check out this pattern for sure!
Uh Oh, no pattern! What did you use? And don't tell me you just made it up on the fly or I'm going to cry...
Thanks Terryt. The sewing part of this pattern is the easy part; cutting all the fusing takes a while but I have to admit, I love this bag. Will look even better when I get the buttons on but just couldn't wait to post them. I think they will love them since I made sure it was in their favorite colors. Thinking about making one for myself after the first of the year. This really is a great pattern.
No, had a pattern for this one, but not for the other project I did. This one is Niki's bag and the pattern is on this site.
I love these everyone one of them...if you feel the need to make more just let me know;-). Truly gorgeous!
Love them all Cathie! Your daughters are very lucky girls. I know they will enjoy them...especially because they were made special for each of them...by mom!!
Thanks Conni. Looking at the three of them together I realized that each one really is the personality of the daughter it was made for. Got to get buttons on them for the finishing touch. Had such a wonderful time yesterday sewing with you and Wendy. Okay, didn't get much sewing done. I can't believe how fast 7 hours went! Looking forward to your seeing your christmas quilt. Post pictures as you go.
