Description

I just love Halloween! I found "Monster Bash" by Sandy Gervais for Moda and just had to make something for my grandson with it. The panel looked perfect for a Trick or Treat bag  and the goofy monsters are too cute!

I looked at various tote tutorials that I had googled but ended making up my own tote as I went along using the panel as a framework. I also had a charm pack so I used some of those to make a small top border and bottom. I ended up lining the bag and leaving just a teeny bit at the top as another little border/piping. Then I used the lining material to bond Cameron's name on the back panel.

This was so much fun to make. I was so excited to show my husband and when he saw it he smiled and said, "That Halloween bag is as large as Cameron!" Oops, he's right, I had been thinking about his dad and how he wanted the largest pillowcase possible! So I figure this is a grow-with-me Halloween Trick or Treat tote.

Hmmm . . . maybe I need to make another smaller . . .
