Words escape me for those tiny blocks...amazing and so gorgeous!!
I have NO idea how to make blocks that tiny...I bow to your expertise! The whole quilt is gorgeous.
Cowgirl4ever The same way as larger ones - find out what is the finished size of the block/pieces & add on 1/2" for seams, it just gets a bit fiddly holding things together & putting it under the machine foot. Also you don't have the advantage of being able to 'ease' things to fit.
this is so happy! And such tiny pieces. Love it!
What a neat idea, to combine big and little blocks! I'm impressed by the small flying geese in the sawtooth star! I'll try it some day soon.
Wow! When I first saw the photo, I had no idea how tiny the blocks were. Now that's an impressive miniature.
Continues to amaze me...good luck finishing and with show!
Rosemary this is so beautiful and such a wonderful accomplishment-Congrats on a gorgeous work!
Truly gorgoeus...I just cannot wrap my brain around being able to do such tiny blocks!!

Sooooo lovely! Just amazing!
Who is the woman on the bench reading??
Amazing. Love the colors and the small size. :)
Wow, wow, wow. That is lovely.
It must have been a glitch in the system as it was clairealex's picture that showed up as one of your project photos on my iPad!
Your quilt is just charming!
This is wonderful! I love the colors and the little piecings in the white border are genius! Did you also quilt this? Beautiful!
Yes, mostly on my Janome MyStyle 22 using a walking foot, but some of it - the corner rosettes and the flowers in the wide border were done using my Gran's old handcrank Singer.
I saw this quilt for real at Harrogate today and it is even more impressive in real life - I cannot believe how tiny those tiny blocks are and just how accurate your points are! Amazing!
Jenniesthreads Thanks. Looking forward to going tomorrow myself and getting a decent photo of it ;)
this is amazing! i'm in awe!
