Description

I took a class yesterday at my local quilt shop titled "Basics in Miniature Quilt Making" given by Leslie Volpe of Boothbay Harbor, Maine.  It was a blast and I loved every minute of it.  We made two miniature quilts and I'll definitely be making more of them.  Since it's October, I brought I chose fall colours of fat quarters to bring with me and I really love how they're looking.  I put a quarter next to the blocks so you can see how small they really are.  I finished the top of the four patch and need to finish the top of the Friendship Star.  Once done, I'll quilt them and display them in my sewing room.

Caribousmom It really was so much fun to work on smaller sized quilts. I can't wait to take more classes with her.

Hey - someone else being drawn to the 'dark side' with miniature work, not too good for stash busting, but very satisfying. They look really neat.

They are absolutely gorgeous! Love the colours of your fabrics. Posyp lol @ 'the dark side'.
