Description

I was volunteered!
My Mom went to Nebraska and visited her twin sister. They found three quilts belonging to their Mom, packed away in a trunk. Grandma's not with us any longer which makes her quilts that much more special. My aunt said to Mom, I really should have these quilt tops finished some day. Mom said Cindy can finish them! Here is the first one. It is made from 1930's prints, sewn together on point and trimmed with solid yellow borders and backing. Mom helped by hand stitching the binding and clipping thread tails. It's really a happy quilt and was fun to complete!

Thanks! I had it in the box and ready to mail to my aunt, then remembered I didn't include a label for this quilt.

Beautiful patchwork, and how very special that you were able to finish a quilt your grandmother started.
