Looks like some great fabric is involved!!
I like your fabric. And you'll do fine making the bag. I just finished mine, and if I can do it, so can you. :)
Mouseinmypocket Thanks! I am going to start piecing the exterior this week. Hopefully I will have the time to have the outer shell done by this weekend! Here's hoping!
The exterior took me about 6 hours to complete, and you're probably faster, so you should be able to have it done in no time.
BTW, I love the black and white fabric. Do you remember what it's called?
This is absolutely, wonderfully awesome!!! Love it...
It looks GREAT! Like one you can get at the store! The pattern didn't call for the "feet" on the bottom, what are they called and are they hard to put in?
love your quilty version of this awesome bag! tackling one is on my to do list someday....
OMG this is indeed a lesson in patience. All those pieced triangles are wonderful!
I love your version of this bag! I made this bag years ago, and I don't think I'll ever make another one. ;) This is fabulous, though!!!
Quiltygirl Thank you so much! I absolutely love it. But I agree, I don't plan on making another one any time soon!
Oh this is great! I'm about to start piecing my weekender! Hopefully it all works out. Did you use Elizabeth Hartman's method with the duck cloth?
Emedoodle I did! The duck cloth worked really well for me! I love how sturdy it is and I didn't have to spend all of that money on the million kinds of stabilizer!
This is my favorite weekender yet! Love your fabrics!
