Description

They have a quilt auction fundraiser every June at our local Bible camp. I combined black and purple charm squares and backed it with a purple sheet. Our mission quilters tied it. We were thrilled that it auctioned off for $140! We had 2 other quilts we donated, also: quilt #6 went for $40 and quilt #116 went for $120. I included several photos of quilts auctioned off that day. The total raised that day was $24,500!

I really like the black and purple quilt! What a wonderful way to donate. It is fun to see the photos of all those quilts.

Janquilter Thanks, Jan! We're planning for next year and looking forward to it. It's a blast to see so many quilts together and watch them get auctioned off!

What a quilter's heaven to see all those quilts in one location. I am particularly fond of the black & purple one since I have a fondness for purple.

True Terryt1955 Thank you, Terry & True! We look forward to this auction every year. It's very exciting to see how much all the quilts go for!

Aizome I have donated two quilts this year to two different nonprofits and I so agree on how exciting it is...nerve wracking as well;-)!!

Aizome

True Well, that's a point, too! We all hope they will go for a fair to profitable price.
