Description

I needed a gift for my 3 sisters... I take them something each summer when I travel to Florida to visit. I saw these on a blog and loved them - and thought... I can do that!! My favorite is the white with yellow & gray flowers and the dark binding. Ironically enough it was the first one I made. It just seemed to come out nicer and more 'professional' looking than the other two!

They're beautiful! I think they all look very professionally done, and those fabrics are wonderful. I saw that pattern a while ago but was a bit intimidated by the handle and binding - maybe I should just sit my butt down and try it - yours sure worked out nicely!

One word...FABULOUS!

Super cute.

Suddenlysandra The binding was tricky. It was the hardest part for me. I think if I had cut the binding strips myself on the bias, maybe it would have worked better?? I just used 2 1/2" jelly roll strips. The cut out for the handle wasn't hard at all. The bottom was a little tricky too...you should definitely give it a try!! It would make a great gift!
