Fun! I saw this tutorial on Oh, Fransson! too... I love the fabrics and colors you used.
Yes the pattern was a life-saver sort of - I'm a bit busy at the moment and needed to get an autumn/spooky/halloween Miniquilt together, it was really easy and fun to make.
This is a wonderful and fun quilt...love your fabric choices,
I love it! I thought about doing this pattern too but just kind of forgot about it. Thanks for reminding why I want to do it.
I was thinking about giving these bats a try too, I really like bats! I like your color combos, particularly the blue-pink-yellow at the top left.
ohh no it's really easy, It's more or less just strips and then 60° cutting and sewing the strips together .. no not at all complicated
Your version is fabulous! I'll be making one very soon after seeing yours.
Ha! These are great! Love the fabrics you've chosen - very cute!
Caribousmom I would love to do some more in black and white with the occassional red thrown in ... make some yourself - they aren't really hard to make...
I may just have to do that! Makes note to self for yet another quilt!!! LOL
I think I really need to make a list - I feel like I forget 90% of the quilts I put on my imaginery list ..
Ohh but we could compare success rates - like I made 3 out of 50 last year - wow you managed to get 4 out of a hundred amazing!
I just love this! I know exactly who I could make this for !
lol We need those imaginary lists....Stops our heads imploding.
Aha, I get it...cool swap! I think "doll quilt" will be my new favorite size!
Chandra aye it is too big to use just one block - big enough to use 4 or 6 or 8 small ones. If you are in a hurry make it 12" square, if you feel like exploring make 20". I really like them to try out patterns and quilting .
